The Starfire system was originally developed by a company called Floating Point Systems, which was bought by Cray Research. Cray, in turn, was bought by Silicon Graphics, who promptly turned around and sold it to Sun for a pittance.

You're thinking of Starfire the server, circa 1996.

This Starfire was an internal project by Sun's human factors group in 1992.

After watching this clip..some words

Microsoft and others are already made a number prototypes using multi touch technology and object recognition technology.

Once they perfected the OLED like technology they can create a screen in odd shapes like in a shape of teddy bear. Imagine you can have a moving pictures on your winter jacket!

Yeah make research about why a car flopped by using Google, MSn or Yahoo...your choice

Strangely no fancy cell phones
