Talk about unnecessarily complex... Yeah, we COULD build a whole new infrastructure to transport cars sideways... OR, we could align the cars with the direction of travel, and transport them on existing trains!
or we could build giant aircraft to move cars quickly to wherever they are need most. Perhaps parachuting them from the planes? We could get trained monkeys to steer the parachutes!
