We already saw what the classroom of the future would look like. Let's take a look into the home of the future. The 1995 book The Road Ahead by Bill Gates included a CD-ROM with video of just such a look.
"The interactive hit, Jurassic Park 6.1" may be my favorite line of the entire video.

That was awful!
So the paleofuture has "the red button" of digital TV, a mystifying lack of a mouse or keyboard, instead some PDA with grey symbols, and hilariously low resolution internet.
And maaasive clogs.
Thats actually more or less the most accurate prediction of the whole blog methinks....
Then again it is only a 9 year forecast, compared to the 60 year old ones...
i'm sure we'll eventually see jurassic park 6.1, sadly.
1. what's with the "dead from a single gunshot" Peruvian sailor (murder? suicide?) news story at the beginning? BIt of a mood-breaker for a corporate futurism video, isnt it?
2. The kid's homework-of-the-future seems to depend on being a kid with rich parents who can buy him crap that will make up for doing any actual work
3. The Mom is hot.
Biggest break with reality: the media includes no advertising, no commercials, banners, tags, or pop-ups.
It's funny how the computer/TV seen at the beginning looks like a current iMac.
